"A parish is first of all, a people called together by God, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue the mission of Jesus.
The members of the parish are called to be a community of faith, hope, and love. The parish exists not for itself, but the mission of Christ.
Myself and the parish staff welcome you".
Father Steven J. Rosonke (Visit Pastor's Corner)

Our Mission
We, the pastor and members of St. Patrick Parish, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, recongnize that we are called to union with God, not merely as individuals, but as a holy community, the People of God.
Within this community there exists a variety of ministries and gifts of the Spirit which enable all to work for the good of the whole. Formed by the Word of God, we recognize our unity of faith and love and accept our common responsibility for the mission of Christ.
